By now you know there's a movie about the origins of Facebook. It's called The Social Network. I saw it a few days ago.  It is the best movie I have ever seen., The movie is pretty brilliant for the first hour.  It’s fascinating to see what Facebook started off as.  As presented by the movie I read it as a nerd’s revenge on “social clubs”, which I gather is Harvard’s version of frats and sororities.
There is no thrilling actions, no exciting adventures, no comedic acts, but still this movie is able to give us everything we want to know on the origin of Facebook and its creator, Mark Zuckerberg. The artists casted for this film are incredibly good in their acting performances, especially Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg and Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin.

Mainly, the stories told from the film are real, and this is how it can impacts the audiences so deep that we tend to have the same feeling with the real people, Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, and some other notable people behind Facebook. We do not only know how to enjoy Facebook, but from this movie, we also do learn the hardship by these people in creating the site, and knowing the fact that ‘you don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies‘ (the phrase on the movie poster) And I like the phrase given to Mark, ‘you are not an asshole, you just trying very hard to be’ at the end of the movie.

I enjoy non-fiction more than fiction, and this had just the right mix of both. so basically, this movie is my type and i enjoyed every scene in it :)

Is Your Brain Sharp Enough..?

How do much do you trust your own brain? The Test Your Brain documentary by Discovery Channel that I had watched with the DEC sem 4 students amazed me with how does really the brain work out. Some of the tricks and facts in the documentary not even cross in my mind once. It is really cool and fascinating me.
So basically, don't trust what your eyes can see.

The eyes can see many things... Our brain brings focus to the image for us to analyze what is it capable of doing and such...Obstacles are part of it... No matter how hard ot looks like when we feel it and try to solve it with our mind and heart it is possible...For me, don't believe your eyes believe the mind and heart that gives you life...

in the documentary itself, the first test already make me speechless. it is about 2 boxes which you see with differ colour actually just the same colour. I was wondering myself how is that happen. Mind start thinking and try to fins what excatly changing. finally, got the answer. It is the perception of the brain changing. when we saying something at the first time, it sort of the mind set is like that. but when its differ from what we see, the mind will tell something else now.

Can you spot any differ of the colour?
if you say the colour is differ, you totally wrong. your mind set will tell that the 2 boxes consist of 2 differ grey colour. but infact, it is just because the shadow and your min perception. try to bock the middle line and see whats\ you get...................... incredible right? this is what happen to me when first i saw the trick. the perception is first important thing as its tell our mind what it is.

everything you see either with 2 differ colour or 2 differ size, its must be wrong one of them. all the effects of what your mind tell is the perception. and the factors of your perception are about the shadow and and the illusion of the picture.

try figure out either the line is straight or curved? if you cant, try putting a straight edge against the line on your screen to test your conclusion. im sure you can tell it yourself. :)

so what is the most important here is. you cannot trust everything that your eyes seeing. think first :D

Apparently, Tintin is a much beloved literary comic character dating back to the 1920's. His stories and illustrations were done by someone named Herge. I am thrilled beyond words that your dreams have come true.

The sense of fantasy and wonder which can be felt in films like Spirited Away or Finding Nemo ends up stifled because of the sheer fact that the world of the film feels pretty damn real. On the other hand, when there are action sequences which are meant to take audience member's breaths away in a film like Mission Impossible, they fail to excite in Tintin simply because it's a lot easier to blow things up in animation, and there's no sense that any living, organic being is in any danger whatsoever. The Adventures of Tintin simultaneously bludgeons both fantasy and hyper-reality, until all that's left is a painfully convoluted story about pieces of paper, replicas of ships and a drunk pirate.

The story moves at a nice pace. The ending credits thankfully started rolling well before I began shifting in my seat. Further, Andy Serkis is loads of fun as the non-teetotaler Haddock. Unfortunately, the film's title is misleading. The said adventure is convoluted beyond any effort I was willing to exert to piece together, and the character of Tintin himself is about as milquetoast a hero as I've seen in quite a while. His yawn inducing presence is not helped by an uninspired performance by Jamie Bell. I'm left to wonder who thought it would be a good idea to cast Bell, an actor known for his physicality in films like Billy Elliot and Nicholas Nickelby, to act in a role which relies solely on his voice.

Anywaz.. I enjOy this Movie So Much Watching it with My fellow Classmates.. <3

~ Little Miss Fickle ~

HeLLo !!!

We all have or had people in our life over the years who are incapable of friendship, not because we do not enjoy them, but because there is no real depth to their character. They handle friendships in the same way they handle what they are going to wear or what they are going to eat. In other words, what strikes their fancy for the moment or the day. The following then are people who it would be wise to avoid or at very least treat as acquaintances because they will never be dependable enough to earn the distinction of friend.

I learned a long time ago, that the very best friend in life, is not one that makes us feel, indifferent, hateful towards others, puts us in the position to explain ourselves, applies pressure to accept their point of view, or think less of ourselves, but instead one who wants us to choose what is in our own best interest, while they support it 100%. We have people who come close to doing that in our lives but if we expect to have it 100% of the time then we will need to become our own best friend.

Reality is, just like we have our own best interests at heart, so does everyone else have their own best interests at heart. Many times the two interfere with each other and other times they can complement each other. If there is little to no tolerance for those changes in our life to apply to us in the relationship, but always on the terms the other person establishes, then they are an acquaintance and should not be classified or mistaken with the honor of friendship.

What Doesnt Kill Me, Might Make Me Kill You...

The story Jack the Ripper is really full of curiosity that make me choose this article for my next entry.  During three autumn months of 1888, five London prostitutes were murdered and all but one horribly disemboweled by perhaps the most famous uncaught murderer of all time, Jack the Ripper. The Jack the Ripper murders occurred in the East End of London in 1888 and, although the Whitechapel Murderer was only a threat to a very small section of the community in a relatively small part of London, the murders had a huge impact on society as a whole.

Traditionally, Jack the Ripper is considered to have killed five women, all London prostitutes, during 1888:
It is generally believed that there were five victims of Jack the Ripper. They were:-
?    Mary Nichols, murdered on 31st August 1888.
?    Annie Chapman, murdered on 8th September 1888.
?    Elizabeth Stride, murdered on 30th September 1888.
?    Catherine Eddowes, also murdered on 30th September 1888.
?    Mary Kelly, murdered on 9th November 1888.

The Ripper generally killed by strangling his victims, then laying them down and cutting the arteries in their throats; this was followed by a varied process of mutilation, during which parts of the body were removed and kept. Because Jack did this quickly, often in the dark, and because he seemed to have great anatomical knowledge, people have assumed the Ripper had a doctor's or surgeon's training. As with much of the case, there is no consensus: a contemporary thought him simply a blunderer.

It's extremely unlikely anyone will be able to use the existing evidence to prove, beyond all reasonable doubt, who Jack the Ripper was and, while people are still uncovering material, the discovery of something unarguable has to be regarded as a long-shot. Fortunately, the mystery is so fascinating because you can do your own reading, draw your own conclusions and, with some critical thinking, generally have as much chance of being right as everyone else!

Nobody Knew.

Carry on my next entry, this time it is about an extra ordinary man names Steve Jobs. Was born on Febuary 24, 1955, he is an American businessman before he together being the co-founder and be the chairman of Apple Inc. He is a very multifaceted man. Whenever he appear among public, people see him as a very successful and great person in achieving life. As he is complex person, nobody knew how really he is actually. Once in a while, by just a clicking eyes, he would easily change his mind to something that in his mind which he think it is better. During college, his friends describe he is ‘weird’. He did say that white is the best colour but awhile after he said that black is the best. This obviously shown that he easily forget what he said before and easily to say another one.

No doubt he invents much great and modern software in Apple Inc itself. For me, this complex man has a contentious characteristic. I was wondering for awhile, what Steve Jobs really do in Apple ? This is just leading negative effects towards him. Of course there wouldn’t be an Apple if there were only negative sides to Steve Jobs’ personality. It is right  as he stated that his work is thinking and cooperate with people.

Last thing that kept playing on my mind is ; how a businessman could achieve much things easily without any influence from other party. To conclude how is Steve Jobs is, a brilliant man but full of controversy

Romantic. Am I ? Hmmmm.....

“ if you love something, let it go. If it’s come back to you, it’s yours. If it’s doesn’t, it never was. “
That is one of most famous love quotes said by all the lovers around the world. Many people said that love is hurt. But actually it is not. Loneliness hurts most. Rejections hurt. Losing someone hurts. Everyone confuse these things with love. But in reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful again. No one fall in love by choice, it is by chance. No one stays in love chance as it is by work. And no one falls out of love by chance if it is by choice.

Falling in love is hard to describe. This understated feeling may occur because of a single look, smell, words, appearance can change the way you feel about someone. When you are in love you will feel a strong bond between you and the other person. You will always be on the lookout for this person. You will be happy whenever the person you are in love which acknowledges you. Loving someone can give us the greatest joy we can ever know and it can hurt more than we can believe too.

When it does not really hurt when that person did something disappointing to you, but really hurts when you see that person in pain and sadness, then you know you truly love that person. Loving someone means you should be ready to experience heartache and happiness at the same time.

Libertine is a morally dissolute person. Most of the libertine treats love poorly as they never care about others feelings other than their own. They do not deserves for love because it is only for ones who know on how to take care of love. Do not fall in love with a libertine.

Believe In The Power Of Words

An ensemble cast lead by Washington that includes Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker,
comes THE GREAT DEBATERS

“ Who is the judge? Judge is God. Why is he God? Because he decided who win or loses not my opponent.  Who is your opponent? He doesn’t exist. Why he doesn’t exist? Because he is a mere a dissenting voice to the truth I speak.”

That is one of sayings in movie The Great Debaters which really make me speechless and impresses with the inspirational and the teamwork in the debate group. This inspired true story is from chronicles journeys of Professor Melvin Tolson which is brilliant debate coach who uses the power of words to shape the group of underdog students which from a African American small college in rural state named Wiley College.

The first time I’m watching this movie I feel like what I had through in my life is just very small part of real life. This out of the ordinary movie had grab my attention because of the spirit and the teamwork apply in the debate group is so incredible. Every each part in this movie courage my valiant and thinking openly style. Plus, in this movie it showed how to communicate very well in public and grab their attention with your first word came out from your mouth. This is such an amazing.

For me as I am communication major, this movie both more or less had courage me and exposed me with how to use the ordinary words but at the end being such pretentious power of words that can make the audience think at the moment. To be excellent in group, teamwork is very essential. I can see that how they work and cooperation between the members of the group that make them succeeds to the last level of their debate.

Last but not least, the way they face all the challenges to achieve the highest level stunned me. The coach and the members be so strong physical and mentally all the way just to reach their goal till the final. This is how we should work to finish what we had started. I won’t ever escape the chance to watch this movie again in future to inspire me more. J

Por No !

Pornography. This word is getting used to teenagers nowadays even as young as 11 years old kid. The obsession or addiction to pornography leads them to imperfectly daily life basis which will get distracted with all these things. I have the same opinion that pornography should be banned. Other than it is not good for teenagers or people who watching it, it also being a danger to a either girl or women. This is because boys or men will put girls or women as their sexual objects. In pornography, it is often  women being raped  and force to do  as their want, so the viewers will assume that  women are enjoying this acts and foremost will make the men this is what they should do to. As it’s a graphic of women either in words or visualisation, it is easily can harm to the girls and women.

Regarding to Michael Herkov- a PHD holder in sexual study, he states that Sexual addiction is best described as a progressive intimacy disorder characterized by compulsive sexual thoughts and acts. For some sex addicts, behavior does not progress beyond compulsive masturbation or the extensive use of pornography or phone or computer sex services. Sex addicts do not necessarily become sex offenders. Moreover, not all sex offenders are sex addicts. Roughly 55 percent of convicted sex offenders can be considered sex addicts.

As we can conclude here, pornography is not the right way to get self-pleasure and must be evade even though it is hard to do so.  The addict must learn the value of his self as a whole person, rather than as a sexual object.   By doing this they are able to develop a new sense of themselves.  They begin to appreciate their sense of strength and purpose.  They begin to take responsibility for their own lives and happiness. Then a new way of looking at life emerges. There are so many other beneficial activities that can be done to get your self-medicating.  Live your life with the right and pace way.

Thinking Folly

Are you a thinker?

“Thinking Folly” –is an article written by Eckhart Tolle, is a contemporary of spiritual teacher. In the article, he states his opinion that he believes that thinking has become a sickness. According to him, we rarely use our mind wrongly, but in fact we didn’t use at all. We are the one had been used by our own mind. Actually, this is the virus. As we trust our mind, we be like slave to our mind. All our actions are actually being done through our mind order without us realizing it.

For me, I’m not agreeing with what being assured by Eckhart Tolle regarding thinking is a disease and as a controller of our mind. As I concern, thinking is a way which human uppermost mental capability to think which anything that starts with problem and will ends with solutions for good. And strongly I’m saying that we are not the slave to our own mind. All the aspects in the world and our surroundings are start with our mind and all of that are starts with thinking. Plus, with thinking, we can adapt ourselves with everything either social or physical.

We can take an example for the engineer and scientist or inventor. They always come out with something new and useful ideas to generate the country well. They are not don’t know to think, they just don’t know how to stop thinking. With thinking as well, we decide what is wrong and right to us. Thinking always helps us to make everything in sense. Without thinking, people will go astray. That is why thinking is our important weapon for everything. So as my conclusion, we are not the slave of our mind but we are the one and only who control our mind with come out of an action.
So Lets

All The Cool Kids Are Quitting Facebook

This is my second entry for this subject. We now knew less or more about the degree of happiness in my previous blog. For now, its a bit converse from the happiness. it is about something that being one of the factors ruined one's happiness.

Familiar with the word facebook? well, i'm pretty sure that almost everyone know what is facebook and at least one facebook account. Facebook is a well known social networking site. pI hardly find some people who doesn't have facebook account. Of course if  people misuse it then it can spread bad message into society and world. I have heard some people open duplicate facebook account in view to hamper someone's reputation. Which is totally bad.

facebook is the most popular social network
The articles that i read title ' All the cool kids are quitting facebook'. Arent those whoseon facebook are not cool they mean? so people..lets take a look the bad side of facebook that makes these cool kids quitting the facebook. the first most bad side of facebook is, once the user started facebooking, they didnt realize that they are leading to addicted to it. You will start lose interest with your surroundings and just being in your own world. . The second bad effect is that your real-world social interaction will start diminishing. There is no doubt that you are going to have hundreds of friends on facebook, but with how many of them would you be interacting out in the real world. As a human being, you are a social creature and you naturally require real-world social interaction. When you are going to spend maximum of your time on the Internet, you are going to decrease your communication and social skills. This not good to be lead in your life as you need that in real life eithere school or working.

Next i'm sure that erything happens in your life, you feel like sharing with your contacts on your status line. You post your thoughts and you expect the comment and when the comment comes, you smile if you like it or you frown if it’s not what you expected. All of a sudden, completely strangers are important to you and their comments leverage your value as a person. And unconsciously you classify people into ‘good’ and ‘bad’ without even knowing them. Obviously, as it happens with real friendships, you don't have the same degree of communication and contact with all online friends, but you cannot really tell who is who since you have never met them. Still, you value them like real Other tahn that, your profile page is full of information about you, who you are, where you work at, what is your favourite music, your favourite movies, books and TV series, what are your religious and political beliefs, your studies and your interests. You share too much information with other people, who are totally strangers.

Those are some bad effect that maybe can help you to make your decision of the degree to which you want this social networking site enter into your life. Either you get addicted to it that certainly will give you problems in your life  or avoid using this nnon-productive products in your life, you are away from troubles.

Your life. You decide. :)

The Degree Of Happiness

The article by a British philosopher, Betrand Athur William Russell had make us realized how happiness being defined in our community. As the title itself, ‘The Degree of Happiness’ , shows that there is intermediate degrees in happiness which make them defined and classified in some sort of way. The word happiness mean mental state if well-being by positive emotions that intense to joy. Not  everyone in the world is born with a sunny disposition, but experts agree that we can learn how to bring more meaning and satisfaction into our life. Well, I guess we all are familiar with how people thinking and their own perception. We have that mind thinking in our community. The different level of lifestyle, position and also education, always being the factors to people to derive someone’s happiness. In our society itself always synonym to label that poor people are less happy while the rich people enjoying the happiness with full of excitement. This kind of mind set sometimes have to be an open eye to some kind of people as there are many true life story that proved their perception is totally wrong. For example, let’s see towards education and the standard of living. In poor family, their children always be the one who well success in education compared to the rich family. This is because in their mind, they need to study and success to help and change the family’s life. They will put an effort to achieve this. Can you imagine how happy the parents are? While compared to rich family side, the children know they can easily get what they want from their parents. So they won’t even bother to put an effort to achieve an extra ordinary achievement. On the other hand, they not only being pampered, thus those pleasure and comfort that they have are always being misused. So, indirectly it is for sure will give trouble to the parents somehow. In the nut shell, from my point of view, it is does not really matter one’s intellectual and position in life can guarantee their happiness. There is no accurate perception on this.

Happiness lies in joys of achievement and thrill of creative efforts. :)
